Hi everyone,
I was wondering, is it okay to feed dogs a raw egg once in a while??
Some people say it's good for them, but others say it's not.
Interested to see what you think

They will be fine raw - why would they not be ?

If i find a cracked egg or a tiny egg, my Millie dog gets them and thoroughly enjoys them, shell and all! she has never been poorly, so would not worry!

mine won't touch them, mind you my hens will quickly devour a soft shelled egg in seconds so it's a good job the dogs don't like them

my dogs wont eat raw eggs at all, i have to cook them for them lol

I sometimes feed cracked eggs to my dogs, but just wanted to check that it's not unhealthy for them 
They love them raw and cooked, cheeky little things!

our dog had a bit of excema, the vet said a raw egg on his food daily, would sort it out......
.....and it did

Spose the only risk would be salmonella, and not sure if dogs get that. 

As a kid, and a very fussy eater   My dear old Dad (sadly missed ) used to trick me into having eggs by whisking them into milk with sugar, and calling it 'Yellow Milk'.  I loved it, and have lived to tell the tale. . . Shiny hair and a cold nose too

We used to have that when we were ill too.

Our dogs get the odd raw egg, usually if I've used one to glaze a pie, or a cracked one. OK in moderation I think....especially for labs!

Sorry, what I meant was ANYTHING you give labs needs to be moderate, except fresh air and water! They put weight on watching Masterchef!

I breed Boxers and they often get raw eggs L(as a treat) together with the oil from a drained can of tuna or leftover olive oil from cooking.  Has never done mine any harm.
