Today going to do  shed clean out.
Poo pick daily so its not too bad.
Only use a quarter of a bale of shavings - get from our game feed suppliers.
Theres nothing better then the smell of clean shavings in the shed and the girls are still supplying us with 3-4 eggs every day.
The ex-batts are growing new feathers and looking better when I got em.
All have had their legs vaselined though the ex batts really did make alot of noise when this was done - they soon quietened down when they realised they weren't being harmed.
I make it a habit to pick them up every day and stroke them so they get use to us - as does my son when he spends time with them.
They certainly are part of the family now - like the 10 dogs (though hubby tend to disagree) 1 horse, 2 cats and 2 budgies !
Though I have a new yellow lab pup due in about 4 weeks time so that will be 11 dogs then

My son asked if we could get some pigs    
Now if I could I would - I just love those cute little piglets (I nickname them 'Chipolatas') but I have enough mucking out to do with what we have and the estate manager might have something to say if I did. :shock:  :shock:
