I planted my garlic cloves 6 weeks ago, I would have thought that I would see some green shoots popping out of the ground by now, but no show.

Should I be concerned enough to get some new garlic and replant - I used cloves from bulbs I grew from planting bulbs I bought last year?

How deep did you plant them?

About 1cm as per instructions and advice. I think a fox has had a couple of them though, suspicious paw prints on the bed.

should still be OK - mine went in so the tops poked out, like onion. Dunno if it was 1cm though, nothing so precise here

I'd suggest you both plant a bit deeper next time.
