I don't know about chickens but most birds don't like to eat them - they have developed a bad taste so that birds leave them off the menu ;)

Darn it! I don't think Mr Raven will let me hurt them.  Maybe I'll put them in the woods!

Some of my chickens chuck them down like mealworms and others won't touch them. I think with the greedy ones that they don't really touch the sides, so taste doesn't really come into it  :lol:
