has anyone ever grown pomegranates?

just wondered if it was worth while to do so

and has anyone got any advice?

Stick in some seed compost and pot on when it gets bigger. Pomegranites can reach 15 feet tall. They are pretty hardy, much like peaches, and are reasonably frost tolerant. You should nip out the middle to get a better shape as it grows. They make nice housplants before reachin tree stage. Also, will bear fruit if left to.

I got a seedling from Aggy this year & she said she'd just sown a few seeds from inside of a supermarket one.

Sorry, I can't contemplate Ireland not carrying pomegranate, on the other hand your husband is in England all so very often.

ive got some seeds from one of my supplyers, thought i would give them a go and wee what they where like but wanted to know the ins and outs first
