After stripping down my 'new' greenhouse yesterday and removing the glass panels, it appears that I will need to fit new sealing strips, I have never done this before so has anyone any suggestions what to use and where to get it from, thanks

Hi JayG... the thread was ok but didnt really give me the answer I was looking for... when I stipped the glass out of my frame, it appears that the glass was held in with putty like strips.
I know the foam type strips would give good air sealing qualities, but would they also get wet when it rains and eventually rot? I dont really want a permenant fix like silicone, as i'm sure at some time or other I will need to reaplce a pane or two 
Does anyone have the brand name of what I am looking for?

There aren't that many rubber profiles used. If its one of the standard makes you can pick replacement glazing rubbers up very cheaply.

Put "greenhouse glazing rubber" in google and you'll get loads. Without seeing the cross section of ali extrusion its going on or a good picture its going to be difficult to guess what you need.

When I put my greenhouse together for the umpteenth time I put a bead of exterior silicone sealant round and let it dry, then I put the glass in.  Worked a treat and you can still remove the glass.
