Hi all.. I am going to try and build a shed in which I will be housing my chucks when they arrive.
I have started to collect pallets so I can do this as cheaply and greenly as possible, and although I have seached the site for 'plans', I cant seem to find what I'm looking for.
Has anyone ever managed to build their own shed and posted 'how to' pics on the forum?, these would be a massive help as I know what I have in mind, but not sure how to put it into practice.
Would 6' x 4' be large enough for 10 chucks, or should I be thinking bigger ie.. 8' x 6'.. any help and/or suggestions will be really welcome.

I'm not sure about size per bird, but there's loads of info on the chicken pages. Somebody on here built a giant shed from pallets using angle iron as a frame.

Hi Andy. Didn't spot your post earlier.

For 10 birds, a 6x4 should be fine. Depends if you want to build in room for expansion or storage, etc.

I don't have mine in a shed so can't really advise on layout but there's a few who have done much the same.

Hope some of them come down here and offer their advice.  ...if not we'll drag them down.  :shock:
