Greetings, I am a newbie and live near Andover in Hampshire. Got my first small allotment out the back of where I live with my missus. Currently got maris piper, carrots, broccoli, brussels and sweetcorn doing quite well. Nest year we will be laying down 4 raised beds as art will be easier for us.
Only thing we are struggling with is where to buy a copy of Grow Your Own mag! Tried local newsagents/supermarkets but to far no joy. Would like to read an issue or two before deciding whether to get a subscription.
Ho hum, nice to read lots of interesting and helpful articles on the site though.

Hello and welcome. I don't bother magazines anymore as they are full of ads and I found a lot of the articles irrelevant to me. And they cost far too much for my liking.

Hello! If you really do want to read mags try the local libraries and the one by Whitchurch Silk Mill has several, not only GYO. Kitchen Garden, for example too and they are on loan like books, and can be reserved of course

Thank you both for the responses, I will try the library as it's just down the road.
