Today has brought 'proper' rain...the sort that creeps into everything. The gutters are overflowing and the road at the bottom of the hill is flooded. I reckon a month's worth has come down in the last hour.....luvverly! :)

Aunty is happy again  :D

We've had some really useful rain over the last couple of days with more forecast.  I'll be planting sweetcorn and brassica plants tomorrow.  Wurzel has kindly offered to hold a golfing umbrella over me.

Toooooo much rain.  Had some hail yesteday and i think some of the veg took a battering.  Still i can't believe how everything has come on since the dry spell.  I'm starting to like this growing your own lark.
organic, till the slugs and bugs get the better of me.

Had some really useful rain over the last couple of days.  Think we will be able to turn over a bit more land now it has softened.

Worzel will be able to have a go with his new azada
