[Toosje]

Last year I have sown some sort of lettuce (I thought). It was growing fast and very good as a tougher lettuce or, when a little older, as a leafy green for a stir fry.

I have no idea what the name would be in English, but I will add a foto.

What I liked a lot about it is, it goes on through winter time! Do you get as bored as I do with all the carrots, beets and bulbs? This, together with chicory is such a nice change

I've grown something before that was very similar from Real Seeds - just found it on their website as Minutina    It did well over the winter in the greenhouse producing lots of greens for stir-fry.  I'd forgotten about it, so thank you for the reminder Toosje

You're not helping you know    Anyway, I refuse to buy any more seeds this summer as I haven't even got through the ones I had.  The dodgy start to the season and sheer lack of space once I could get going has thwarted me.   I have actually just got enough to fill the plot, rather than be running round cramming stuff in.   There's a moral in there somewhere I reckon
