I know lots of people have asked questions about Jeyes Fluid and sorry if this sounds a bit repetitive but...

I have bought Poultry Shield to use as a disinfectant and red mite preventative - it does cost quite a bit, would Jeyes Fluid do the job just as effectively???

I use jeyes as a disinfectant and poultryshield for the red mite.  Jeyes doesn't get rid of red mite.

Ok, so doesn't poultry Shield do both jobs??

Well according to their website, poultryshield is the most powerful cleaning product on the market, but I've always used jeyes first to clean and disinect, then poultryshield to kill or help prevent red mite.  Like you say, its not cheap.

Mostly I think too its a matter of personal choice

We've not got our chucks yet, (1st week in May) but have gotten farm dissenfectant. I got it from my work, I assume this will do the job.
