Title: Broad beans
Post by: Chicky28 on July 19, 2013, 12:12
Can I freeze broad beans as they are or slightly need to cook for 1 min?

It depends how long you want to keep them in the freezer.

I blanch mine and they keep well in the freezer through until the next harvest (and longer).

Ah, I didn't realise there was a new thread.  I have no experience with this but I blanched and I think they were pleased with my efforts, they look kind of ok in a freezy kind of way.

Wish I'd thought of drying though, I would have done half and half to see what was better.
