Apparently you need to take heel cuttings and use powder. I was reading about it on Monday :)

Hello there. Bearing in mind where you live,  I guess your soil is free-draining like mine, I've had some success just pulling off heels and sticking them straight into the gravelliest bit of ground I can find - just have to remember to water occasionally  -    I got 10 new babies last year from my prunings and I guess I started with about 15 bits. I may have used hormone powder - depends whether there was any to hand at the time! (Not the most organised gardener, me.)

There are other ways, but one at a time is enough, so here"s another one.

I do!  It is a bit more fussy so I just set more clippings to account for the lower success rate.

Curry plant and others with siver/grey foliage are covered with masses of tiny hairs. These trap moisture which can lead to fungal rots.
So....... use gritty compost and don't bother with the plastic bag. Works best with semi-ripe cuttings ie not too soft
Playing all the right notes but not necessarily in the right order!
