I have two rows of Early Nantes which were in the Fly resistant pack from T&M. One row (the first planted ) has started to go yellow and when I pulled a coupple up they have the fly. the other row looks ok but they are still very small.
Are they all doomed ?
I notice the row where I have been thinning is the affected row. I havent touched the other, if I leave it alone and dont damage the leaves do you think they may be ok ?

is it too late to put another row in, I have flyaway and resist a fly packets of seeds which I havent tried yet

I haven't seen a fly resistant pack, but how these carrots supposed to work - and it's probably packed like so - is this: you plant ordinary carrot with them, in this case Nantes for sacrificials, next row to the resistant one, like Flyaway. Discard sacrificial row and harvest Flyaway.

Nice four-poster bed, Auntie, Terence should be soooo envious.

Water pipe here too . Got it from B&Q.
Here's it with some netting over brassica (pic taken in May) but I fleeced the carrots (in the background) and did some in a big plastic dustbin, at home, as well... to heighten my chances of getting some carrots. Both lots of carrots seem to being doing ok, nice & clean, no damage so far.
