Hanging baskets in the greenhouse
« on: April 02, 2012, 18:35 »
I like to plant my baskets up fairly early... mainly because the plants get too big to force through the holes in the liners.  :D Now you lot are fairly handy - anyone got any ideas of where/how to hang them? Don't really want to use the roof supports etc as these might bow. Could tie them to staging slats but might not get enough light.

Any help most appreciated  ;)

I have some of these cheap mini greenhouses, have had them years.  I use the shelves out of these for temporary staging in the greenhouse and hang the baskets under these so they are almost on the floor.

I try and not to put too much stuff on top to avoid blocking out too much light, where I do have stuff on top I space it out as much as possible.

I don't have enough height in my greenhouse to have them hanging anywhere high.

I stand mine on those recycled flower buckets from supermarkets, as there is no where out of the way to hang them in my green house  :)
