Green tomatoes
« on: September 04, 2011, 17:16 »
I have had only about 4 ripe tomatoes from my plants but have loads of green ones still on there, looking very healthy.

Are they likely to go red now or should I make a chutney or marmalade from them.

And if I am going to make a chutney from them, how long can I keep them on the plant for as I know that I won't have time to make it until at least next Sunday.
I always find that work gets in the way of life.

They've time to go red, especially if you sling some banana skins in there!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
