exotic tomatoes
« on: March 09, 2019, 22:54 »
I'm hoping to get my hands on some unusual tomato seeds for this years greenhouse. They are blush, maglia rosa , ambrosia pink and ambrosia blue. Anybody tried any of these and how did they do ?

Hi Mick I've not had any experience with those varieties, but I've always found all the varieties of tomatoes I've grown to really easy to grow from seed, like you I like to try different exotic ones each year with a couple of staples I always grow. The main thing is to know if they are determinate or indeterminate varieties.

Never grown them but have over the years grown others and more often than not they have be dissapointing in that not as tasty as I like.
You only know by trying, we all have different tastes.
Good luck hope they work out.
