Not sure if this is the right section for this.
Have some spuds that have sprouted and have looked elsewhere online wondering if they can be used. Have read something about the starch turning to sugar and therefore should not be eaten. Don't want them going to waste if possible.

If you mean can you eat them, then yes you can - but they do sometimes taste a little sweeter. So they're good as mash, where you can perhaps add a little more salt at the mashing stage, or as chips/wedges when the salt and vinegar sorts that out :)

Thank you for the reply . Mashed potato for the next few meals , with a sprinkling of soy sauce!!
Good to know that they can be used. Just a case of where to ask.

you can also plant into containers and then transfer in Sept/Oct to a warm place and uncover them in December
