hi all

i have a baby pear tree thats a funny shape.

someone gave me it a year ago i planted it and it never grew at all it went into leaf but that was it

what i wanted to ask is how far can i go as regards to pruning it into some kind of shape?

im going to move it to a new spot with some compost mixed in and see if it does anything then

It's hard to say anything useful without more accurate detail, Nathan.

Are you sure it's a pear, what's it's age, is it grafted, if so, on what, what variety, was it potbound, how and where did you plant it, what's the funny shape, did you prune on planting, if so, how?

Saying all that, they need to establish themselves first on planting and that mostly involves growing roots I wonder if it would do it any good to be moved again.
