fly wheel removal
« on: April 12, 2007, 19:06 »
hi everybody. i`m after some information concerning a briggs & statton dm rotorvator. i brought it last weekend and the seller said he had not started it for 2 years. when he tried to start it he could not get a spark. the engine turns over fine. i have removed the casing and cleaned all the rusty stuff off the fly wheel, cleaned the ht lead and put a new spark plug on, but still no spark. what i want to do is get the fly wheel off but i can`t work out how to do this. does anybody know how to get the fly wheel off? also does the dm modle have points? b&s web site says only pre 1983 engines have points, but i don`t know the age of this modle. thanks a lot. willie.

If your using outlook express try double clicking on the paper clip mate think that's how you do it, not used OE for years I use thunderbird now. If you don't have the file I will send it you again and put it into the main body of the email.  :D
