Cheap aluminium greenhouse
« on: February 28, 2010, 14:29 »
I am on a very tight budget and would like a small greenhouse. I already have one of those plastic cheap ones but the cover after only a year is full of holes. Therefore it would be a false economy to buy another cover.

I have had a look and this seems to be the best price

If anyone knows any better deals please feel free :-)

If you want to be happy for a short time - get drunk.

If you want to be happy for a long time - fall in love.

If you want to be happy forever - take up gardening!

I've had two second-hand aluminium greenhouses off eBay (a big one, and an even bigger one  :tongue2:). Got a bargain, and very happy with them.

The trouble with second hand ones is having to go and get them as well as taking them apart unless the seller does that for you.

New greenhouses on Ebay are too expensive compared to online shops. And as for B and Q....outrageously expensive.

Took me and a mate half a day to take it down, plus the driving time. Need a suitable car though.

Can't see any metal ones on Great Universal for anywhere near £95. Best they have for that price is a plastic one (I already have which has big holes in)

Ask around at work, or put a notice up. Ask all your friends and rellies. I've seen two go for free in the last week - well worth the trouble of dismantling etc.
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.
