went in yesterday and got some spring onion seeds as they said you can sow until August.

Is there any problem stocking up now for next year? what do folks check for, longest 'sow until' dates?

I store seeds for years, admittedly some do better than others, parsnips being a case in point. Kept in a Tupperware box in the fridge they'll keep well for ages

I went along to Wilko and got myself some bargains

Yes Parsnips and angelica don't store the fresher the better, I'm at work nearly every day and still not bought any :oops:
But what really surprises me is the number of people who open the packets and nick the seeds :evil: there 1/2 price !! :roll:

is half price as good as it gets at wilko's or does the deal 'sweaten' further down the line?

they'll probably go down to 75% eventually, but there's a good chance that they will be none left by then anyway, better 1/2 then miss out

It's not just the seeds half price, they have gravel trays, seed trays, pots, modules, loadsa stuff. I bought more seeds and two packets of each cos they were half price :oops:
