If I enter this piccie will anyone notice it isn't my pumpkin?  ::) :tongue2:

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Mum that's a lovely show, well done, even more so this year. I found one of mine rotted in the conservatory today :( I think I harvested it too late. Only picked them on Sunday.

My only surviving squash plants from the monsoon this summer was gem squash.  The pumpkins and other squash lost the will to live and withered away  ::)

Sooooooooo unless we are having a 'small but perfectly formed' class, I'm out

No chance of my hundredweight (which isn't!) winning prettiest pumpkin - it is one ugly so and so.  Not even a mother could love that one!  It will be perfect for All Hallows though as its face looks like Freddie Kruger even without the carving!!)

This year, simply getting anything that turns orange will be a winner for me. Grandson aged 5 planted Pumpkin Mars and we are racing against time, surrounding it with bananas, shining a daylight craft lamp on it 24/7. It is near a window but where's the sun gone???
It is a nice shape for carving but grandson is dead keen for his mummy to have the flesh for cooking.  I think we are almost there .....

My "giant" pumpkin was tiny and about as pretty as a bulldog chewing a wasp. ::)

I know I came too late for this but thought I would show my last year's crop.  Cute isn't it? :)
