Title: How Long Do Eggs Keep?

Silly question?  :?

I have searched and found many answers. So thought I'd ask here. How long will the eggs keep in the fridge?

Have ordered everything but the chickens today. Thought best waiting until I was fully prepared before arranging our new additions  :D

Hi mitsy, eggs are best kept at room temperature, theres a lot of mixed views on it, but i don't like to keep them more than three weeks :)

There is a lot of opinion on this one and mine is

Store in fridge,  keeps longer (I've never thrown one away)

Round side up, keeps air space at the blunt end

Store in carton not egg shelf, prevents evapouration.

Some weeks I use more eggs than others so at least there won't be any waste. Although I am sure family and friends will be helping out  :wink:
