First bean pods showing on my broad beans today. How good is that then? :)

No. Outside in a raised bed. The tallest are about 2ft high and full of flowers. The odd flowers which have dropped off have a nice little pod about half an inch in their place. Some are still only about a foot, and one or two are about 8". I set them off in modules in the greenhouse and planted out in early December. When frost threatened, I put cones made out of bubble wrap over them, held in place with bamboo stakes. Still lost a few though. The variety is Meteor, which is supposed to be one of the earliest croppers according to the packet.
