Is it just our Mili that is naughty first thing in the morning?

The cats sleep in the garage at night, and every morning when they are let out Mili comes straight indoors and is naughty. If he isnīt jumping from sofa to chair, and clinging onto the leather like a limpet  or jumping from the  sofa to cabinet she is upon the table sweeping anything she can to the floor, or she is climbing up the curtains.  Every morning is the same... and when Jim puts on his shoes she attacks his laces, and if she sees him put on his belt she jumps and clings to his thigh   Every morning is the same, Mili is a monster.  She is 16 months old.    When can we expect Mili to be good?

Well ours try to be naughty at about 4 am if we forget to shut them downstairs so you're doing well. I have found that about 10 is when you can start expecting them to settle. :closed eyes: You might be disappointed as sometimes it takes longer! :D
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

Our cat got booted out by dad before going to bed every night as he otherwise always started wrecking the carpet at about 4am, wanting to be let out  8)
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

I was in the bathroom this morning and I heard Jim yell at Mili..... he was standing cleaning his shoes and the laces were hanging down, so Mili took a leap at the laces and clung onto Jim's leg   She lays in wait for him every morning

Is this not normal cat behavour?  Ours was like that, but she has settled down a little now but still has her moments.... she must be about 5/6 year now, I'm not sure... you have to make the most of the kitten years  ;)

I could not come out of the bathroom until I had stopped laughing    Mili even climbs the curtains and sits on the wooden  curtain rail.  She has been known to leap at the washing on the line and climb that too   Jim hardly has a tshirt without a hole in from Miliīs claws.
