Yes. We've kept it on due to my husband's medical condition but turned off or down the radiators over summer. We have a room thermostat in the lounge so the heating doesn't kick in if the temp is above 20 C. I must admit it's nice to walk past a radiator that's giving out a bit of warmth in the morning.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

Must admit to beginning to think about it, I think this continual rain makes everything feel chillier, have closed the big windows upstairs but have left the fan lights 'ajar' still. If I get chilly, and I'm a chilly person, I just put another layer on to try and put off the enevitable.

I've warmed up the heat pack a few times at night or while sitting at the computer while working  :D

Next stop - hot water bottles.

Only then will I resort to the electric radiator behind my desk.

And then the heating!

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

I've been warm enough all day while I've been busy, but I've just now put socks and a cardi on and filled the kettle for a hot water bottle. My back isn't happy if it gets cold.
Might have to unearth the duvet  i've only had sheets and a throw over up 'til now....

I'm not even going to consider it until the clocks go back. Although I need to get a few more jumpers as someone has shrunk all my clothes again  :nowink:

Definitely no heating but I have asked my wife when we need to replace the summer duvet with the winter one. It’s getting a bit chilly overnight even with the deep heat I’ve put on for a bout of sciatica.
Keep digging

what is a heat pack, and how does it work.  Hot water bottles scare me now because of filling them up.

A heat pack is a piece of fabric filled with something like lavender, or wheat grains, or cherry stones.

You heat it from scratch in the microwave for 1 - 2 minutes (follow the instructions), and it provides heat for a shorter period of time than a HWB. You need to make sure you don't reheat it too quickly or for too long, as it will remain hotter in the centre of the filling than you feel it is at the outside where you're holding it.

Some examples here:
