I am looking for a part for a old mountfield Strimmer for plot ? I have tried local retailer with no success. :roll:

I think they used to be made by zenoah komatsu, but I might be wrong.

I have feeling that Mountfield at one time (1980s) had quite a range of strimmers from 16cc curved shaft machines right up to prof' machines....I seem to think they were made by a range of manufactures and badged Mountfield.

Zenoah rings a bell also I have a feeling Maruyama (spelling?) may have been another.

 It also depends how old machine it is as 10 years has often been the max' that manufacturers may support machines..

Back in my time in the mower world Mountfield was a good steadfast supplier...but has seen changes of ownership in more recent times that may also see older models no longer supported.??
