Right-e-o folks... not seen my boy doing his stuff just lately! Unless he's doing his romancing in the hen house while still in there before the morning let loose I think he may have lost his mojo!!
I know he was servicing OK as he is the proud daddy of beautiful little poland banties in the past. He's only 18 months old so shouldn't be in need of viagra!!
Any ideas? Not overly concerned at the moment as do not want to be rearing babies over the winter months but would like to keep him interested ready for spring.
He now has 6 ladies to keep him company, introduced 3 more Polands 4 weeks ago and it seems to be since then he's "gone off the boil!"
Could it be too much of a good thing for him?

it is the time of the year, they do prefer mating in the spring and summer because then the chicks have a better hatch and survival rate. He is perfectly normal

Yes just what I was going to say it's the Spring time when a young cockrells fancy turns to a youngs hen's ... well I'm sure you know the rest. :blink:
