I have had a look around, but most of what people are selling seems to be for cover protection and not for pea and bean use

Netting is a nightmare to get your old plants off and re-use again.

I grow runner beans up canes and peas are supported a shown in this infamous thread:

they trimmed the tops off the hedges round our site, I have kept all the bits that fell into my plot as pea sticks. since 2 sides of my plot has hedges.

I was going to use it for my climbing peas and then put it in my composter on the basis that I'd get to use it again eventually...

No Don't Do It!

there was some at the bottom of the compost on my plot when I took it on.
When I turned it out to dig the compost in - it drove mw to distraction- it kept getting caught on the fork and tying itself up in knots
