I have grown cucumbers for years inm my greenhouse at home this year I planted trhem in allotment greenhouse and got this damage.
Could not find any insects on leaves but found a very small white spider looking insect unfortunately did not have camera at the time and just resorted to squashing it.
Top end of plant is totally stopped I actually cut it off Saturday as it has a strong side shoot which I have started to train up as main stalk.

Could be red spider mite, despite their name they are light green in summer.

Any sign of webbing?
