AAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!! I hate slugs.
I love my radishes, but this year so do those danged bla**** pinhead sized slugs.
I don't fancy (even when thoroughly well washed) eating them so I have to peel every one.

See if they only ate a whole one it would be better leaving the rest to you
they just never finish the job they start

I suppose I really ought to move this to GYO now!

Awww what a shame Mr Mole, they look such lovely radishes too!
DD, do you leave your radishes in the cat litter trays all the time then? Until you pull them to eat that is???

Grown to completion in them, wouldn't attempt to transplant them.
Just like this!
I think it was from Medwym Williams that I got the tip. That's how he grew them for showing. I grow them high up out if the reach of the darn things.
Just remember to water!

Ooooh thanks DD. I may have to try that! Not that I've grown many radishes for a couple of years as they get wasted. It's only me who eats them.
Brian doesn't like them! Perhaps a smaller tray just for me!!!

Don't sow them too thickly or they'll compete for space and not fill out.
I also find they're better off in the cooler part of the year, rather than "summer".
