Exception to the rule.

:D I've been reading about White Star hens, and it says, extremely prolific layers, docile and friendly. My girl didn't read the book. No eggs as yet, although she is only 22/23 weeks, very noisy, very fiesty and not at all friendly. Devil in sheeps clothing maybe?  ::)

Whitestars are part Leghorn, which is a breed that has a mind of its own but as she gets older she'll probably calm down a bit - the exuberance of youth! I've always thought the quickest way to a chicken's heart is through its stomach, so try hand feeding her treats. She'll soon come running when she sees you.

Oh she does come running, in first everytime but as for hand feeding her, she won't settle long enough, when she see's the mealworm she practicully pulls the dish from my hand, fluttering the whole time.  :DThe 2 Polish just stay back until I've thrown some towards them, maybe scared she tramples all over them.   ;)
