Toms Fighting for Space

I have planted 8 gardeners delight in a 1.2m square raised bed, underplanted with calendula.  Plants all look good and the calendula is flowering its heart out, but space is now getting tight. 

I've read on this forum before that some people removed the lower leaves in their toms and i've started to do this to improve air circulation but am worried i might be overdoing it.   

 How much is too much???

I only ever remove leaves up to the truss that is fruiting.
When the first truss of toms has been picked i remove leaves up to 2nd truss, and so on.
But i know that some other people do it differently............there is one man on the net that leaves very few leaves on I don't do that till right at the end of the season
