SURFINIA
« on: January 06, 2015, 19:13 »
I have never seen Surfinia seeds for sale. I think I once heard that the growers only sell young plants. One of the lads on the allotments had masses of them this year. He claimed he had bought a few plants then taken cuttings. Is that feasible ?

I do not think they come true from seed. I also think I read somewhere that they are licensed and it is illegal to take cuttings without such license. Might have been on a commercial basis

Yup, the Plant Breeders Rights thingie does only apply to plants that are sold - taking a cutting for yourself, or giving it to a chum, would be fine.
