Post by: rowlandwells on October 20, 2019, 09:11
having  found some vine weevil in our pots we need to find something to rid ourselves of this pest so we intend to spray the pots with Nemasys vine weevil killer hopefully this will do the trick I just wanted to ask if anyone uses or has used this method and if its done any good

the other thing was Nemaslug that I intend to try next season to control our slug population again has anyone used this and have you found it works to rid you of slugs especially for  brassicas crops

any replies to this topic will be much appreciated

No I don’t use either but check the temperatures that they work at or you might be wasting your money.

I did try Nemaslug one year but sadly it was not a success.  Mind you, it was the awful summer of 2012 when it just rained and rained and it was basically slug heaven.  Entire substantial plants were gobbled up overnight!
