The chooks need their house moving urgently, wht with all the rain and stuff lately they could really do with something clean and non mushed up to walk on, trouble is a few days ago I scattered some lime on the area that they were on before to purify the ground a bit and wondered if its safe to put them back on that area yet? would imagine with the rain its all pretty much gone but don't know what to do.

Hi  Did you use garden lime if so it will be well watered in by now and would be fine to put the chooks back on it. I often lime my one run which is directly on the soil, water it well in then the girls are back on it again the next day with no problems at all.
