I'm having some shovel issues, I've been borrowing a neighbours true temper ash handled round mouth shovel for the past two weeks and love it, I managed to find the same sort on amazon so obviously bought it. Now it's arrived I took it down and started turning over some already dug soil. After about 5 small shovel fulls a big crack and the shafts gone down inside the collar. Now clearly they don't make stuff like they used to is clearly the answer here. However, it leaves me needing to find a new one, I don't want to break the bank, was pushing abit spending £30 on this one.

Can anyone help here?

Not I've not tried Irish or West Country shovels out but they look significantly different ... HELP

I would sending it right back & wanting a refund or a replacement

I've already got the ball rolling on a refund. However good the one I've been using is I'm dubious about getting a replacement with it being from online don't want to have to do this all over again.
