Overnight low of 14C in the g/house overnight, 17C outside now, but grey. It's supposed to brighten up later.

Back to sunshine and quite a gusty breeze now - think I'll keep the courgettes, squashes, runner beans and sweetcorn in the cold frame for the next few days.

We have just had 15 minutes of reasonable rain.   Not forecast !     15c, Winds WSW, and it was blowing very hard.   Then the wind stopped and the rain came.    Now it is blowing as before.

We had repeated bursts of very blustery showers, a couple were thundery with it and one dropped quite a bit of hail  luckily it thawed very quickly once the sun was back out.
It was like an end of March/beginning of April day, rather than May
