I've developed an unhealthy obsession over the past few days for watching the live rain radar showing rain to the north, west, east, and (especially this morning) the south of here.

Not a drop here since 18 April (1mm) to 'add' to the 1.2mm about 5 weeks ago! 

Hope tomorrow's forecast of heavy rain turns out to be accurate...

Same here, we're obsessive by this point. We got a few hours light rain 2 days ago, but nothing since.

Promises of heavy rain last night came to nothing and currently we've a few spots but not enough to register on the rain gauge. Fingers crossed the heavy rain due this afternoon arrives.

It's 9C here and we've had 6mm of rain since midnight, still grey low clouds, so may be some more to come.

I don't like it, because it means an indoor day, especially now with all the bad news - but the garden really does need it!

 We had gentle rain overnight  which softened the ground and now it's thundering down.  First 'proper' rain in ages.

Slow steady rain here as well. Was raining overnight and doesn’t look like stopping any time soon.

We did have some overnight rain, I don't know when it stopped -  I overslept    I don't think it was particularly awesome.   But it is grey and misty, so who knows.   temp just 10c and wind ENE,  C.H. is on.

Same here John at least the water butts are full again and veg and fruit has had a good soaking just to cheer you all up rain until the 12th may on and off

The rain band has now past - but we only got 5mm which is not enough by far. Still, better than nothing.
Chilly at around 10ºC and breezy which makes it feel colder. Oh well, that's life.
