Another bout of squally wind and rain has just hit here, pelting against the windows and whistling down the chimneys again... wish it would just go away - I'm fed up with it now

If I'd typed this 30 minutes ago I'd have said it mild, grey, misty and calm   - but I made a cuppa instead
Now the sky is black in the SW (where the storms are coming from) it has started to rain, and the wind is getting up again. 
I wonder how much more of this is still to come, I'm getting cabin fever

Well I went out to the potting shed thinking it was all but over and suddenly the sky went black and the wind got up before throwing hail at the windows. Very odd how quickly it came and went and came back.
Today is calm, blue grey sky and not too cold at 7ºC

We managed to survive this weekend better than we thought. Today the sun has appeared with a light breeze but it's a jolly cold one!

Weather specialist just said there's a strong gulf stream which may bring more unsettled weather his coming weekend.

Yesterday and today was windy but sunny, felt and today will feel like a max of 2C.

Bright, not exactly sunshine though.  5 to 9 c  but feels colder as the wind is still blowing and gusting up to 40.
Have managed to open all the windows for a good blow through, nice.

Technically around 8ºC but feels colder in the wind. Fairly dry. Looks like we've got windy conditions for the rest of the week. It's OK in the potting shed and greenhouse though

Same here Mrs B couldn't get my walk in just a quickie around the block
