Hi i have a buff sussex hen wich went broody a couple of weeks ago she sat 21 days and nothing came of the chicks they dided in the eggs and 1 hatched and later dided so i put her back with the other chickens shes been in there a week now shes was back to normal. untill
the last couple of days she has been loosing loads of feathers thers loads in the run shelter and loads in the house is this just moult or something else because none of my chickens have ever lost this many feathers befor in moult any answers would be grate thanks luke .... :)

some do lose all there feathers and look oven ready whereas others go through partial moults so you don't notice it as much. I have an ex broody moulting now as well - looks like they have had a pillow fight in their coop :lol:
