Ahh bless congrats

Now listen very carefully please:

1. you have about 6 weeks before havoc can and will be wreaked on your garden
2. Keep greenhouse door closed or barricaded at all times
3. Garden plants and tubs should be surrounded with large quantities of chicken wire commando style if the are to survive
4. If you have a swimming pool fence it it will not be safe from pooy bums
5. Do not put your tea down it wil be gone before you can say duck

Sorry, but Charlie (trouble) Drake here is a devil in disguise and can and does all the above on a regular basis along with his 5 accomplaces

Enjoy your ducks they are so lovely and always have a smile no matter what :-)

looking at the muddy mess they make in there run i would say yes you can have to many ducks and the feed they eat is beyond belief. but i now prefer to eat duck eggs to chicken eggs, try them scrambled  so much better imo more creamy.

Funny, scrambled was the one way we didn't much like them ... boiled, poached, fried, baked, omelletes, for baking, as meringues ... all vastly superior with duck eggs
