Coco bianco beans
« on: April 22, 2020, 13:55 »
I bought some seeds last year and never sowed any. I am thinking about growing them this year though. The supplier premier seeds suggests they can be eaten as a mangetout type as well as growing them for dried beans. Has anybody grown them? Are they worth growing? Also premier seeds supplied the seeds as a dwarf variety but I read a review saying they actually grow more like a runner bean so supports needed?

I tried Coco Sophie last year, and it is what I call a half  runner, 'cos it only grew about a metre high. It seemed to struggle in the heat, despite regular watering. I'm not growing it this year.
I think that tells you what I think of it  ;)
