I noticed Morrisons are selling 10kg Westland organic chicken manure tablets for £6, this seems like a good price.

Can this be used on my plot as a general feed throughout the year?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated

Not really a general feed, more a High N feed.

It is good for crops that require more N tho.

Typical analysis for pelleted chicken manure is 4-2.5-2.5 (NPK). Growmore, by comparison is 7-7-7.

So PCM is a relatively low-impact fertlizer (weight-for-weight) which contains all the "big 3" nutrients (with a slight bias towards Nitrogen), together with some trace elements, so it's pretty useful for most veg, especially the more leafy ones.

If the source of the product matters to you make sure it comes from organic sources; some of them come from poultry farms you might not want to be associated with  (read the label carefully; some make a special point about their organic credentials.)

Don't use on your spuds, it causes scab, plus they don't the N bit.
