Title: Shallots sprouted!

I was just plant then now for next year, will it work? The space needs filling. Thanks

It's too early, IMO -  they'll probably bolt as soon as the weather warms up in Spring :(

That was my experience this year. I planted them in October and they bolted and didn’t make much of a crop. By contrast, the surplus stock from a local garden centre was planted in May which I thought was far too late and they are producing a decent crop.

Planted a few already. I could pull them up.
Noticed some had already started to separate into more bulbs...only a few.
How about me storing till later in the year?
Say planting out October ish?? Will they still sprout in spring?
When you say they will bolt in spring are you saying I will get nothing other than sprouted shallots?
