whhhhhhhhhhooooooooooops sorry everyone ::) :tongue2:

this is the seedsdirect I mean....... www.seedirect.co.uk

this is in no way linked to the other site that folk may have found ha ha..... thanks for all your replies, learnt lots, now I started looking things are just getting cheaper and cheaper wilkos and morrisons are coming out on top so far. However I like the idea of buying smaller quantities of seeds so I will try that I just dont need 1000 carrot seeds  :nowink:

ha ha
thanks

I used the premier seeds one from ebay and had good results from them.
This year I have mainly used Wilko as I have bought a few packets each time I have been in.

This sounds worth investigating Leaner. Could you post the link or pm please?

Sorry can't help out here as supplier does not sell on internet. :(

It's a "by post only" system - happy to pass on address and price list if anyone is interested. :)

ordered my first packet of seeds from premier seeds direct last night (before i saw this post) and if the seeds are as good as the thank you email i received from them then i don't think i'll be disappointed.
1000 seeds for 99p is definately worth the test and if i get a good crop i think i'll be using them again next year

I've seen on a previous thread somewhere that quite a few people use Alan Roman's seeds so has anyone bought from here and does it do what it does on the packet so to speak?

My seed supplier bought in extra stock to provide the seeds I needed. He sent them off by return post (cost 49p delivery for a total of 6 packets) and the seeds (butternut squash among them) were just 60p a packet:)

Pretty good I think!

I'm still yet to buy alot of my seeds, on a budget so have to buy as and when, but www.moreveg.co.uk looks like an amazing find!!

Just had a look on their site and they don't charge anymore for organic seeds, how good is that?!

And they have the 2 beetroot varieties that I was planning on!!  :)

Thanks for this post!!
I'm a vegetable virgin! All advice offered very welcome!!

Nice web-site and a fair range (having had a quick look) but I think the prices are high!!  :(  Beetroot 50 seeds for between 50p and 75p!!  :( I pay 60p for between 120 and 200.

Butternut squash 3 seeds for 50p! Hell's teeth - I think average packet from my supplier contains in region of 12 or more. Haven't checked the rest out but prices would put me off.

another fan of premiere seeds direct here, good quality seed at cheap prices.
Also picked a few packets up in Wilko last year, and they were good too!
