Title: pickled shallots
Post by: Gwiz on December 27, 2007, 09:03
back in the dark ages, I asked on here how to pickle shallots.
I followed the advice given, and at Christmas dinner time, we opened the first bottle of shallots and hot red peppers.
fantastic!, I can still feel the afterburn!
so a big thankyou to those that gave advice,
i would shake you all by the hand, but you wouldn't want me to get too close!

The late landlord of my local had a great expression for this. He was from Manchester, and when he'd had a curry he'd say "Eee I was sh*tting blue lights the next morning!!"
