Title: charcoal ash - uses?
Post by: mushroom on August 02, 2007, 23:11
hi folks,

Is charcoal ash (or indeed any other ash of vegetable origin) useful on either the compost heap or elsewhere on the allotment?

If so, what for and why?

I want to have a BBQ soon with the fine weather and that, and was wondering how or where to dispose of the resulting ash. Is it useful elsewhere?

cheers
