Stuff it with some kind of mince concoction or as my nan used to do, boiled with plenty of butter and black pepper  :)
It's like a jungle sometimes, it makes me wonder how i keep from going under......

marrow and ginger jam - I like to shred the flesh of the marrows rather than cube it, so that the lumps are smaller  ;)

Or marrow and lemon jam.  Or use a courgette chutney recipe and use marrow instead.

Or a marrow mustard pickle.

Eat one and play rugby with the other?

Sorry, needed a silly moment this morning.

I'd recommend stuffing with bolognese and cooking in the microwave or roasting... the marrows that is!

I'll vote for marrow and ginger jam.  I make it every year.

I do cube in in very small cubes and I use crystallised ginger.

I am quite a purist and peel, core then slice them 1cm thick and fry them in butter - yum

Eat one and play rugby with the other?

- carefully cut out an oval hole in the tops and hollow them out to serve as dugout canoes for very small pygmies..

- tie each one to a carabiner to use as 'interesting' ear-rings if you know any elephants with pierced ears....

- hollow out to use as overshoes when paddling through up to six inches depth of pineapple juice....

- hollow out and line with silk as organic carrycots for royal babies...

- soak your teeshirt, stuff the marrow up it and loiter inside a deep freeze until for the first time it is acceptable to use the term 'literally' when saying you are '...frozen to the marrow..."   Explain the significance of 'literally' to modern teachers.

- offer your children a squash on a hot day and then enjoy their disappointment when you give them these....

- paint them white and sell them on fleabay as 'possibly dinaosaur eggs'

- slice and use as frisbees that will bio-degrade if you miss them and can't manage to bend down to pick up...

- attach to the keyring so it is harder for your car keys to slip down the back of the sofa....

- cut the end off, hollow that part out and use as a hat for a wood fairy costume....

- organic mutes for euphoniae

- spear cubes of it onto cocktail sticks for party guests who cannot handle excitement...

- put on the ends of cocktail sticks when running so you don't put people's eyes out with the tips...

- use as a darning mushroom for the socks of clowns with the huge feet...

- ride on a Manchester bus with one of them on the seat next to you and wait to see if anyone asks "what's the marrer wi' you then?"

- stuff into your pockets as ballast to avoid being blown away when unicycling in high winds...

- usea s a club to hit hamsters lightly on the head and remind them 'time to get some work done...'
The Dales - probably fingerprint marks where God's hand touched the world
